    I am Canadian Citizen, filing spousal (dependent) application for my Indian wife. Birth certificate not available.

    Doesn’t really matter but I would recommend to Send the original one. However, get it scanned just in case if you need it in future for reference. Thanks

    Hi there, if you are applying through a lawyer he can draft an affidavit and that should do the trick. If not, find a lawyer that is kind enough to help you with that. I hope that helps
