July here, 22 weeks, and nothing

almost the same timeline it's been 16 weeks since my sister did her biometrics and so far nothing. this delay is not fair. we paid around 25K CAD for the tuition fee in May 2023 to get admission. we could have started a business and made money with that in my home country. They don't care...

Immigration is a business for Canada, they don't care about your time and your life and your plan. it's only about their interest. I am very disappointed.

my sister applied in late September, Non-SDS Biometrics August 2nd or 3rd ( not exactly sure ) Still waiting

I applied on July 28, VO Ankara non-SDS Bio-metrics August 3rd, still waiting I can not check my status because I hired a representative

Why everything is so slow?

If I use a representative for my application, can I still use "Application Tracker" to track my application?

Sorry about that, I saw someone on this thread, got Refusal and applied for the second time and was approved, They still have time to apply for winter 2024. When did they do their biometrics?

When did you do your biometrics? I think it's a good sign.

Im inland Family class applicant, received my COPR in April, and after a week they asked me to provided a passport size picture for PR, after 3 weeks I got my PR in mailbox, Do I have to leave Canada and come back to become PR? what is the procedure now? thanks

No worries, we are all learning, you are right, Visa is to enter the country, and extending their stay or OWP is to maintain their stay legally.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. She came with visitor visa and her visa expired, but she maintain her stay with her OWP letter, I will withdraw her application from extending her stay as a visitor. Thanks a bunch!
