I think they only print out cards in batches, so I had to wait my turn. I have no idea. Some were lucky to get all the dates lined up well together and close to the printing date, and got the card within 2 weeks.

You can only have a new SIN when you get your eCOPR (usually 4 days after you have replied to portal). You will print it out, sign it, then bring it to Service Canada along with: all your passports, your old SIN and a proof of address (phone bill will suffice).

I linked my PR card application to my IRCC account. On September 8 they informed me that the card was being sent out. By your own account, how many days did it take before it arrived?

After only 2.5 weeks? You are lucky, congrats. I'm going onto my 6th week after eCOPR and still no PR card in sight. The profile picture still says "in review"

To anyone who has received their PR card, how long is your waiting time between receiving eCOPR until the card actually shows up on your doorsteps? Is it delivered with regular mail or with DHL (signature required?)

It is written in the "Congratulations, you are now a PR" email that: Please be advised that the status in the PR Confirmation Portal will continue to display as “Ready for Review” until your PR card is sent to the address you requested. So... I guess there is nothing else to do but wait

You are still a Canadian PR, no matter what, since PR status doesn't expire in normal circumstances. But without a physical PR card, you need a PRTD to return to Canada. Apply for it only while abroad...
