Approx 3 weeks from the date you submit passports via their courier to VFS. If you submit directly at one of the VFS office, if might cut few days.

This email is a very good sign "we started reviewing the additional docs. " I too got this email just few days before getting PPR. This email doesn't mean they will ask for more docs. It just means they are reviewing additional docs submitted later by applicant , before sending PPR request.

You would need to follow VFS instructions..I too sent it separately...using same letter in both envelopes. While raising VFS request you can select two applicants in same request ...so that they have common parent reference number.

How are you planning to get address proof for OHIP/Health card.

This is interesting. I thougth medical travel insurance is required only for visitors, super visa and work permits. Didn't know it could be required for PR landing. Didn't find it under list of mandatory docs for landing. Also, how can we know that 3 month wait period has been reinstated .
