How did you know it got transferred to Etobicoke VO? Did you call IRCC?

I applied one through IRCC in July, it's been 4 months, still haven't heard anything. This time, I applied through CBSA. They are faster. I got it in 35 days. Hope this helps.

It's not mandatory. IRCC will contact you if they need the RCMP report. But it could potentially speed up your application if you had it when you submitted all your documents. As it takes about a month to get it.
