No, that hadn't happened at all. It had been on "Background in processing" during the whole application process. It only changed to "your background check was completed." the day we got our eCOPRs.

The day we got our eCOPRs the MyCIC status fields had been updated for eligbility, background check and final decision. The background check field value reads: "$date: your background check was completed." With $date being a date a couple of weeks ago. We had called IRCC a couple of weeks ago...

Nothing silly about that question. MyCIC had been updated the day we got our eCOPRs. PR application approved. Eligibility had been approved on the same day. Fun fact: apparently, our background checks had been completed weeks ago.
