No, I did not get in contact with them. The email is kind of weird though. They only said that there is an update in my application and that's it.

Hi, same story here. I have been trying to call but they never answer. My friend has not gotten hers yet. She got to talk to them and they say the process could take up to 6 months. So I think we still have a long way to go. Please let me know as soon as you hear from them. I'll do the same.

Yes, I got my SIN number. There is a number to call migration but it is very hard to get in contact with them. 1-888-242-2100, be very patient this might take longer than 2 hours.

I sent mine because there was a contradiction about me working off and on campus (Same situation as the person who started this thread). My friend got in contact with them and they say that it might take up to six months. :( were you able to get a SIN number??
