Had the same a month ago, at Scarborough too. It has to be in person--they don't accept online--and I'd just pay for the plane ticket and come if I were you. Those who postpone it report waiting a few more months for the same in person meeting once more.

Yes! I am seeing elsewhere that some people have been able to get it urgently: either by mail (takes roughly a week) or by going topick it up physically two days after the oath. In both cases they had to ask the officer during the citizenship ceremony it seems.

I suspect it's Scarborough as that's where I did my interview but I also did not receive the invitation email yet so I have no idea. Was yours in person or online? How does it work if you're online (the ceremony and what follows for the passport)?
