I hope so, it's been almost 7 months for me as well, but when I asked my local MP and they got the information back from IRCC that it is undergoing security by CSIS. They told me if you don't hear back from IRCC by July (a year from when the security screening) let us know. I cancelled my plans...

I am still waiting for my IRCC ATIP that I requested in October last year. For CBSA took 45 days to send the document by email. It is probably security screening if your background status did not change after they received the fingerprints, many people here are stuck in security which will take...

You can ask for ATIP from CBSA or contact your local MP. If you've done your citizenship a while ago and your background is still showing in progress, then probably it is stuck in security, criminality, or pending a fingerprint request. However, the only sure way to know is to read the notes...

Yeah, even up to a year is considered within "the normal" range. I hope that won't be the case and the time for all of us would be on the shorter end
