Hey, I think this is a glitch because it just same thing happened with me. I opened my PR portal & didn’t see the photo then i refresh the page & now i can see it.

In my opinion, your PR should be your first priority. I mean your file is at its last stage. I was in same situation like you, i cancelled my ticket & still waiting for my ECOPR since Nov 21 but luckily I got almost full refund back from the airline. I would recommend you should wait for ECOPR...

Yes, you can travel outside canada without PR card but to come back, you need to have PRTD document which is basically for PR candidates who don’t have their PR card. You can apply it when you get to your country.

Yes, Same thing happened with me. Just sign out from the PR Portal then log in again & try upload it. It will work.

If you are travelling soon then yes i would suggest you should not submit the photo. Just let IRCC know about this through the same email that you will be going outside canada & they will probably hold you Ecopr until you come back.

This is the big misconception. For Inland applicants, You won’t get ECOPR while staying outside canada by law. You will be IN & OUT Canada with your current temporary status. IRCC will hold your ECOPR until you come back to Canada.

But i would suggest if it’s not urgent then you should delay your travel until you get your ECOPR because it might can delay your PR confirmation.

I think you should send them an email on the same portal email that you are going outside canada next week & will be back in Canada in February. They will probably hold you ECOPR until you come back, just let them know about this. Should be fine.

And I’m waiting since 21 November from VO Montreal.

I got this exact same email from IRCC 3 weeks ago but still waiting for ECOPR.
