OINP TECH DRAW (HCP) - Feb 08, 2022

OINP is extremely slow these days ... My application submitted on March 13th, moved to assessment stage on May 19th and no more updates since then. My immigration laywer tells me the cases that she is processing are very slow as well.

So most new applications will be processed in 6 months, this will also be applied to EEPNP applications right?

yeah, usually there’s a tech draw in February. Wait one or two more weeks at most.

Go for pnp options if you could. Lower your crs to 460+ for OINP. I don’t think it is a good idea for preITA outlanders to wait for all program draw resume.

guys, I'm trying to lower my CRS for OINP. I don't want to claim any points for my spouse's education and language test result. Can I put her education info into personal history and not submit any of her language test result? Could this be misrepresentation?

I just don't get it. Currently there are 5000+ people in the pool with CRS 500+ including CECs and FSWs. They will be more 500+ candidates joining the pool before draws resume, lets assume 10000 in total by July (I think it's a fair estimation since given FSW has been paused for a year and CEC...

I doubt that cutoff for FSWs will keep 500+ for 6 months, currently there are 5000+ in the pool with CRS above 500, 2 draws they will be gone.

How to get an AINP nomination though? Proper noc and CRS score like Oinp? Any crs upper limit like OINP?

Are they going to do it only after the backlog is cut in half ?

Summer 2022 is a fair enough estimation though.

Thanks dude, I went back and checked all the mandate letters before 2020. None of them explicitely mentioned anything about FSWs or all programs, but there were draws. So I guess it't up to minister's decision to whether or not to conduct FSW draws, JT just doesn't care. If that's the case, then...

Could you please elaborate on this? For the pre-ITA FSWs, it will be hard because FSW draws won‘t happen or the CRS is likely to be above 480 since more points for CA degrees and experience? Or the FSW quota will be taken away by the TR2PR pathway?

I just wish that the new variant(or any new ones) will not cause the closure of CA’ boarder. Otherwise we may have to experience the painful 2021 again:(

no more outland PPRs these days? So IRCC starts the inland only mode due to the new variant?

tbh, I don't really look forward to the new mandate. I guess it won't change much and will be aligned with JT's election manifesto, which is about TR and former international student.

Dude I'm curious how did you get a working permit. FSW outland are allowed to apply for an open work permit while their applications are being processed?

Even if it will be NOC based draw, that will also be applied to CECs not just FSWs. This has been discussed a lot in the thread.

Sir,could you please provide the source for this information? I have a Canadian degree but have been hopelessly waiting for FSW draw for a long time. Just checked Mendicino’s Tweets since August but no luck. Really appreciate your help!
