No, that is simply the COPR number that is assigned on the Tracker. We are still waiting for the PPR and final COPR doc.

Unfortunately, Etobicoke office often means an additional 18-24 months beyond the typical application timeline. It is the office that handles applications that have been flagged for a closer look.

My husband got his COPR today too. Not sure how long the PPR and the doc will take with the strike but the wait is almost over!!

I, too, got updated BG to "In Progress". VO is Ottawa as far as I know - they never actually told me and when I called IRCC they weren't really sure either.

Surprisingly received Pre-Arrival letter today. Strike starts tonight.

And everyone's wait gets longer and longer. All apps will be on hold with the Public Union strike set to start on Wednesday at 12:01 am. IRCC is a part of this union so they are predicting that all processing times will be affected. Hope no one was in a hurry to be reunited with loved ones. :mad:

These issues just go to show the gross incompetence and negligence of the IRCC. As a Canadian, I'm embarrassed that this is the first experience so many new Canadian PRs have of the way our country works. What a joke. But keep giving yourselves raises in Ottawa, kids! Good job! :rolleyes:
