AOR March 11. No updates, tracker cannot find my application. Question: For in-land applicants currently on work permits, will the UCI number be the same as the one on the work permit?

To anyone looking for answers - I received an update after 36 hours that the application is now in progress and I see that the Unique Client Identifier is assigned to the application now. Looks like it's just how long it took for the system to do its thing in the background.

Yes, I believe so. The lawyers did the paperwork on my behalf. And they said I qualified for the 2 week processing, so I assume it's GSS.

Should be fine, they will anyways ask you to send the pictures of the sticker they put on your passport when you got your biometrics done.

Application type is whatever Visa type you applied for (in my case it's a Work Permit) and Location is the VFS location you are sending your passports to. Just got an update that the passports are being mailed out through FedEx today.

Not yet. Latest status is that the passports were enroute to VFS LA from IRCC. How about you?

Yes, I got it. LA VAC was super responsive. I started the email chain with them at around 10AM Central Time and I got the labels by 1PM. So, I sent our passports today itself.

Alright, good news came in today. Received PPR: October 05 2021 Any idea how long LA VAC is taking to respond to shipping labels request, processing and returning the passport?

My lawyers advised me to book for a biometrics appointment the day they filed the paperwork. At that time they didn't have the BIL in hand. Between the filing date (Friday) and the appointment date (Tuesday), they got the BIL and passed it on to us. That's how we managed to get a biometrics slot...

Not sure if that congrats was for entering into the waiting game :D Yes, it's my understanding that Urgent Request is for expedited processing. Back in June/July timeframe, another employee of my company got the Visa in a week once they submitted that form. I don't think that timeline applies...
