Really disappointed. If Canada can support 40,000 Afghan refugees, then why cant sponsor parents of taxpaying citizens? Thats so dumb of this govt. And above that, they are paying for living expenses of these people. I am single, and I work 7 days to be qualified for this :confused:

I think in the Interest to sponsor form, they must ask to enter income for each qualifying year, in addition to personal details, which should be reviewed by IRCC staff to determine if this person deserves to be entered into draw, so that no such people can even get into the actual pool.

Yes, you can only sponsor who was included in the interest form, you need to wait for next years

You mother is the Principal Applicant, so she will complete her form, mentioning her parents, address, siblings etc.

Thanks, and also if you can answer another thing. I am in QC for only 1 year contract, if I end up going back to Ontario, do I stay eligible for federal side (3 years income) ? Or I will have to wait for another 3 years outside QC. Thanks

Hello, I was wondering if it makes a difference if people change provinces. I filled out the form in 2020 and around the end, moved to QC, I meet financial requirements for both QC and other provinces. Will it be hard for me to explain to IRCC? Thanks
