Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

I realize people listening some of these stuff and making their decisions without any rational analysis are just as much at fault. They have to realize anytime they blindly rely on others for interpretation, eventually the person playing that role is going to get too comfortable and start...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

Again you just evaded all the questions and trying to take me to your lala land where you're living in your own reality. Let me put it this way. Anyone that has read this Applicants are no longer required to intend to continue to live in Canada once granted citizenship. This removes...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

You're in an immigration forum and calling people holders of "passports of convenience". When you say that, do you realize you are talking about your fellow Canadians? Your term directly comes from "citizens of convenience", which was coined by anti-immigrant conservatives in politics and those...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

You're not addressing the inherent inconsistencies in your opinion. There is no standalone way to think about this. You're saying IRCC can ask whatever they want. Consequently they can base their decision on whatever they want (I'd imagine that information is typically not released probably...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

Yes, that's what I'm saying. That's your perception. You have certain mental model of who is a Canadian citizen and how a Canadian citizen should behave and following their job or studies in another country is against those views for some reason. You are also falsely saying that's how IRCC views...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

That's another thing. RQ inquires about the past and he's conflating it with questions on future intentions to add legitimacy to his own speculations. These are two separate things. The adjudicating officer has every right to delve into the past physical presence. I think everyone should be...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

I'm not trying to be mean. I actually wanted to respond yesterday but I held back but constantly trying to rekindle fear is not at all helpful. There are lot of folks here that are new and haven't dealt with immigration agencies before. Many come from countries where due process is not a...

Interview Experience with Citizenship Officer November 2021

Give me any topic, I can package my own biases and write nonsensical ramblings like your posts here. The only thing I gather from this is you have personal frustrations with certain kind of immigrants coming into this country and don't like them pursuing their life interests. So, you're trying...

No. It's likely you have mirroring turned on in your cam settings. Deselect it and you should be ok. No experience taking the test, so don't have an answer for other questions.

Question Regarding Language Requirement: Application for Citizenship

Yes, under certain conditions. Like if someone is cocooned in a government office for life. Because government services are mandatory and there is no competition, you can order around customers. However, in a customer-centric approach, employees are expected to parse customer information to...

Question Regarding Language Requirement: Application for Citizenship

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is not what's bogging down the IRCC. In addition, they can ignore stuff they don't need, it's not really that hard. If they're irritated by seeing an extra sheet of paper that says the instruction medium was English they shouldn't be working for an...

Finding out the local office where my application is at

Not sure about the exact address but you can send it to the local office or to the Sydney center: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/procedure-to-withdraw-online-citizenship-application.734099/post-9450343 I don't have to tell you, just be sure before sending...

    ATIP notes , due date

No personal experience but I've seen folks mention IRCC can keep updating due dates. Can't seem to find those now from the forum search. There was also one big GCMS thread iirc, you might get better answers over there.

    Online vs. Paper application

I believe there was one burst of fast processing of online applications in that period (Possibly they were doing an end-to-end testing of the then-new online system? Not sure) but after March I think online slowed down significantly. Folks can correct me if I'm wrong. Then there were fairly...

    ATIP notes , due date

Unfortunately, I don't think the date means anything. Based on my understanding, it's something they can change to whatever they want. Have you been contacting them through web form or phone about the delay?

Can FIRST Canadian Passport Application by an Adult be filed Outside Canada i.e. in a Canadian Embassy

For Canadian kids born outside but NOT born in a jus soli jurisdiction or adopted by Canadian parents they have to issue new passports outside Canada. Just be prepared for any delays also I'd imagine you must have your citizenship application in your hand otherwise its going to be a lot of trouble.
