I contacted my local MP 3 months ago. The only answer I got "IRCC is still working on it, COVID-19, refugees form Afghanistan.. Please be patient" If your processing time didn't exceed 1.5 years, they don't escalate or help much

I don't think so. If your next step is the Oath ceremony, it will not be an issue. They will ask you to show Canadian IDs (e.g. Driver's license) and cut your PR card. No one cares about the foreign passport. If your next step is the Test or DM, then it depends.
