Hello everyone I recently became a permanent resident on the 17th April 2014 and am waiting for my pr card. Unfortunately, there is a delay from CIC and the pr card processing time has been going up weekly as many of you may already know (76 days as of today). I have to travel soon to the UAE...

I am not sure but they would be in contact with the Pakistani authorities and all...Lot's of agencies are involved and it's not under the control of CIC but CBSA. There really is no time limit but usually it takes 2-6 months on average after RPRF Request...

I completed my landing 2 days ago at Rainbow Bridge..They do not take any fingerprints..They will simply give you the administrative refusal and that's it

Don't worry...there is a chance they might do it fast. I am a Pakistani passport holder too and it took me 10 months from the time when I applied till I got the PPR. Keep your hopes up :D

Hmm I put down a different address than the one they have on file and my return tracker got activated on Friday..should be here by tomorrow..will let you guys know which address I receive it at..

I did my medicals with him. There were no issues. Everything was pretty smooth..I did my meds on the 26th of Feb and ECAS was updated to "medicals have been received" on the 6th March.

Go for CEC..They are processing applications really fast nowadays. As mentioned above, it's taking 8-10 months on average now.
