Well to be honest I read elsewhere that it is not possible to renew and you have to apply for a new one. The portal does not have an option to renew the certificate and is only valid for the 5 Years. WES on the other hand has the option for renewal. Hope this information helps.

Hey, your ECA should still be valid. You dont need to worry about renewal, they are valid for 5 years from issue. Here is a caption from their website,"An ECA issued by IQAS : is valid for Express Entry for 5 years." Good luck with your study visa. All the best with your studies.
