It depends on who you stated in the invitation letter that will be paying for her trip, if it is you, you are required to show proof of income and possible bank statements. If it is her she needs to show the same as well.
Getting approved is based on why you were refused. You applied before January 22 so you were not refused because of the attestation letter. If you haven't evaluated your situation as to why you were refused even with the attestation letter they may still refuse you.
I know the wait is frustrating but all you can possible do is reapply if you want or send a webform asking for update if its a really important purpose , state it
I know someone that applied in march for his daughter and no reply. Even tho she has a us visa and her dad is in Canada. They just seems to working slow. Try sending a webform to see if you can get any possible update.
The wait is long, i was waiting for 7 months then reapplied in February and got approved about 2 weeks after. I had the visa before tho. There to others waiting from 2020.
I tried applying for a refund however, they said i cant get it because the application is in process (GKEY)
So i requested a refund using a webform, haven't gotten a response as yet.
On the portal you would select: To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada
