You may check ircc online account. If you see counterfoil number there it means you are fine. Also they mention visa expiration date.

Hi. I received GCMS note before not after pre arrival. What your MP said is wrong. They start criminality check after biometrics and sponsor approval. Also they do information sharing with US UK and other parties. Your criminality check should be finished couple of month ago. After eligibility...

Thanks for information. We placed our application in September 2020. Ankara visa office received our application in April. We received pre arrival letter in October and decision made and passport request in early November. It takes 16 days form receiving pre arrival letter to passport request.

Medical extended for several applicants in this forum. You can find them in previous pages. Even if they ask for second medical it won't take long.

Most probably they will extend his medical test based on other applicants experience.

It is so sad. It means they still did not start working on our applications. I also ordered GCMS on July. I will let you know if there is any progress. I am September applicant.

When did you receive GCMS notes? Is it recent? Ordering GCMS in early stages does not show anything.

My background check section says : we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. They received my application on September 2020. Application transferred to Ankara on April. I think what it says does not have any meaning.
