Okay, yes VO does make a lot of difference, your VO is the primary office which is CIO, they have been making some efforts to clear backlogs, but only a few applications. Ottawa seems to be the worst with no movement at all, be happy they are only your secondary office :D . Congratulations.

There is no real meaning to it, but if your eligibility says "Recommended interview", that means there may be something in your application that needs straightening out, and they may invite you for an interview, check the notes section (the last pages) of your GCMS notes to see what the officer...

Medical usually expires 1 year from the date you had the tests, not the date it was passed...but it doesn't matter, medical that is less than 3months validity is as good as expired anyway, it's either extension now, or being asked to re-med.
