if they linked your profile you should receive a email like: "PR Portal (PR confirmation) - New Case Created Under Your Account | Portail RP (confirmation RP) - nouveau dossier créé dans votre compte"

Pardon, what I mean is: did ircc send you the credentials and you login into the portal or you created your own account and the linked your application?

WOW that's crazy, did you create your portal account before they send you the credentials?
