I think the best thing for us to do is to get him to finish getting his citizenship and then he can sponsor me there in the future. Housing isn't going to be cheap but we can at least pop out kids in a country with free health care lol

I thought it had to be sent to a Canadian address, but I may be wrong. We asked that it be mailed to our new address in Canada. He's used his nexus but has been told to keep his COPR on him at all times as that's what's required for him to travel now.

Congrats! When your spouse received the e-mail, did it say "ready for pick up"? I assume that means by fedex, but it provided details in the e-mail of the location so we were quite confused as my spouse isn't currently in NY and paid for the 2 way fedex thing.

Our lawyer got a message saying that we needed a more official copy (not from the hospital) of my partner's birth certificate, here's to waiting another 2+ months while we try to acquire that from his state. Hopefully this means they're at least actively processing our application, though.
