I understand that background check is mostly criminal check to make sure that people did not commit a crime etc. My question is, when is education and work experience verified? Does this happen during eligibility or during the background check? Thank you!

If you can get the document they require which is the “constancia de datos registrales”, which is not easy to get, you would need a letter from a consulate or an embassy, it’s worth trying… otherwise they will take 6+ centuries, sorry, months to submit this document to IRCC.

The Mexican consulate in Vancouver are useless and refuse to help fellow Mexicans living abroad. I am willing to go to Montreal just to get the carta petitoria for the PCC. Did it take a long time for you to get an appointment with them?

I took my finger prints in June 13, 2023, pictures will be taken sometime next week. I have yet to be requested my documents for my PCC… could someone please let me know if it will be a problem that my finger prints are from June and my PCC documents will be requested sometime in October? thank...

But how did it take them until they applied for PR to realize these letters were fake I don’t get it. It’s Fucking stupid. Those were old documents! I don’t even think officers look that much into old documents unless something doesn’t make sense.

sabes si tienden a no aceptarlo? mi abogada dice que si se puede hacer la solicitud y enviarlo debidamente traducido... y no se que hacer, por un lado la espera... pero por otro, y que tal si no lo aceptan? :(
