Crazy, it seems like, at least from reading cases here on the forum, that a lot of people end up getting PR before ever hearing back about the OWP :|

I can see that we received an email after 8 days which had the new application number. We applied Inland FYI.

I believe that you will get a new application number. Our application was also rejected due to missing police cert and isues with signatures, when we re-submitted, we got a new application number. Your submission date will also be the date that you re-submit everything.

Interesting, they never gave me the option of two way courier, I was told to handle the sending to them bit myself. Medical expiry date is the date at which the medical results are checked by the doctor, something like that, it seems to be a few days after you have the medical done.

Yes, you need to fill out the arriveCan app and upload your vaccine proof there. You also need to enter your quarantine plan. At the border they just asked to see my arriveCan receipt.

Hmm, weird, UK is a visa exempt country, and so in the letter I had it said people from visa exempt countries are only required to send a passport copy. The list was 2 pics, photocopy of passport, proof of payment of fees and a copy of the letter requesting these.

Hey, I couldn't find any place to upload the docs so I posted the pictures and letter to VFS in London. You also have to pay them for the return courier and a processing fee, you must send proof of this payment with the letter and pictures.

I landed in Toronto today guys, the process was super easy and quick and I did a soft landing which they were totally cool with. Felt great when congratulated on becoming a PR!!

The thing that blows my mind is that still people from 2019/20 are waiting and some are inland. Seems so incredibly unfair when some new inland applicants are being processed in super fast speeds. :/

I think your application should be quick, you are a 2021 applicant, right? They seem to be getting rushed through (some say to meet the targets) so you should hopefully get yours in the expected 6 months or maybe less!
