I have question, if we already have a portal ( where we upload address and photo) to check PR card approvel and mailed then why we need to link with cic account or does it safe if you also have portal and you also link your profile with cic account to check PR card status?

I received credential mail where i have to put address and photo. I just want to know do they need any address proof because i just move to new place and i dont have new address proof but i have old address proof. Do they need any proof of address or is it ok with any address.?
