@fc123 Any update from your end mate? The 'You don't need a medical exam' status still hasn't changed for me

@fc123 Thanks for the update, mate. You're definitely a step closer to your COPR. My AOR is 05 Nov 2020, FSW-O. VO: London. Background check passed back in May and medical status changed to "you do not need a medical" last month, 3 weeks after expiry. Just a couple of questions. 1) When exactly...

LONDON Visa Office Applicants....Lets connect here

@Usama1970 thanks mate. I read somewhere that medical extensions depend on the assessment results (M1 or M3) and the country where you apply from. My AOR is Nov 2020 and I'm fretting that getting asked to redo it will take another couple of months for them to then pass it. Nothing they do seems...

LONDON Visa Office Applicants....Lets connect here

Hi guys! We all know how ridiculously quiet London Visa Office (UK) has been in recent months. However, I just wanted to know whether any of your medicals have been extended by IRCC lately. If not, has anybody here been asked to redo their medicals? Mine are due to expire next month. Cheers!

Did that change quite recently or was that back in June?

Hi mate. Thanks for sharing. Would you mind telling us what the Background Status tab says in your GC Key account? Is it 'Your application is in progress' (1P1) or 'We are currently processing your background check' (1P2)? Cheers!

That's definitely a good sign! When did your parents get there medicals done? How long were they were valid for initially?

    FSW WORLDWIDE

@muspal So, it's definitely from the day of the visit to the doctors and not the passing of the medicals by IRCC? :(

    FSW WORLDWIDE

@legalfalcon Could you please shed some light on this? Are the medicals valid from the day someone goes for their physical examination or the day they are passed by IRCC post e-AOR as listed on their GC Key account? Thank you!

I see. That means you're at 1P1 now and the next ghost update should take you to Real IP2 as they start/pass your security. Hopefully very soon!

Hi mate. Thanks for sharing! Has your Background Status on your CIC online account changed at all since AOR? I mean from 1P1 to Real 1P2 (from 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.' to 'We are processing your background check. We will...

@legalfalcon As most PCCs are valid for 6 months, is it a good idea to apply for them again even before IRCC has asked for them? Or is it better to wait for their request? I've seen quite a few people getting ADRs for PCCs as their applications have approached a year of processing time.
