I have to say that, when I received the Oath invitation email, the agent forgot to include the zoom link. I had to call and email back. I received the link the day before my ceremony.

The agent didn't close my file until recently. That prevented the printing of my certificate.

Congratulations! I believe you can only apply in person for urgent requests by appointment only. They would require proof that you are going to a trip soon. If it's not urgent, you have to mail your application.

They didn't do any work in July. It's their vacation month

Sept 2019 - App submitted Dec 2019 - AOR March 2020 - test cancelled March 2021 - test invite May 2021 - Oath By stages I mean each step in the process. My application was on hold for a year between test invites. Other than that, it seemed to be moving every 2-3 months.

The only pattern I noticed is the gap between stages. It seems to be a good 2-3 months window between them, if you are lucky

It means that they just received your application in Ottawa. The office most likely didn't do any work on your file. Once they office starts your background check, you will know they are looking into your file. You can register here: https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login

Hi All, My status finally updated to complete. Oath Ceremony on May 26 @ Ottawa. It's been over 2 months waiting for this update..... I should be receiving the certificate soon.

I’ve been sending emails to Ottawa Office for about 3 weeks. IRCC call Centre sent a message directly to the agent taking care of my case (JT). Still no action to close my file for 3 weeks. Call Centre agent informed me that my certificate is in queue for printing for 8 weeks. It’s been 7 weeks...

The Officer JT is on leave and forgot to close our files. We wont get anything until JT returns in August.

What was the subject line in the email that you sent back to IRCC? I was asked to include "JT" as subject line and attach all signed forms.
