After 796 days, I FINALLY received my PPR last week. I truly can't believe it. Having waited over 2 years, I started the process of a mandamus application with a lawyer about 3 weeks before I got my PPR. Not sure if the PPR timing was coincidental, but I can't complain!!! CEC Outland COR: Spain...

After 26 months since my AOR, I received my first remedical request today. However, I took an upfront remedical exam 10 days ago, and sent the IRCC a webform with the eMedical printout, but I haven't gotten a response yet (presumably the doctor submitted the results to the IRCC as well). I guess...

Yeah, it's frustrating, that's for sure! I'm just over 2 years myself and also don't know the status of my medicals. They were extended once but that extension would have expired by now. I ordered a second GCMS notes to check ~45 days ago, but I still haven't received them. Conceivable? Sure...

As I understand it about 90% of CEC applicants are inland, so they processed those quickly. Unfortunately a lot of those of us who applied from abroad have been stuck in limbo too.

Wow, my agent is RC-9515 too. This seems like a strange coincidence.

Yeah, it's tough to stay positive. I try to remind myself that I'm fortunate enough to be healthy and residing in a safe country, unlike so many others. All things considered, I could have it a lot worse, and I'm happy to wait a little longer if it means that more Afghan refugees can escape the...

Where did you see that soft landings are allowed? According to the IRCC, it looks to me like soft landings remain prohibited: If you’re outside Canada and your COPR and permanent resident visa are still valid If you hold a valid (not expired) Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and...

hmmm... that's interesting. My medical exam would have expired in December 2020, which would be the 1 year mark after it was conducted. In November 2020, I submitted a webform asking if I would need to take another exam, and they responded with, "Your medical exam results are valid for 12...

Are you sure about that or am I missing a detail? I am a CEC outland (AOR Dec 2019) and my medicals were extended to Sept 24, 2021, according to my GCMS notes. I haven't received the portal email though. My application is approved but not finalized.

Agreed. My AOR is December 2019 (CEC Outland), and my initial medicals would have expired in December 2020. I just received my GCMS notes a couple days ago, which indicate that my medicals have been extended until the end of next month. I was never contacted about a re-med or the extension. My...

It's exciting to see some actual movement! I've never tried calling the IRCC about my application, because I as I understood it, they wouldn't reveal anything different from what is listed in the online system, and my webform responses are always generic. What did you ask specifically that...

Well that's interesting! My medical exam passed the one year mark in December, 2020, but I haven't heard anything from the IRCC about a re-med or an extension. I'm still listed as having passed the medicals in December, 2019. Random, indeed!
