I called ircc, but that was as much as they told me. Ever since I called I haven't received any updates.

I still haven't received or heard anything on my amendment..

Nothing yet. I called them last week and they said my package was opened on Oct 22nd (over a month lather UGH). But no updates.

I just asked if they had any updates since it had been delivered over a month ago and the processing time shows 1 month. They can track is based on the original application number.

They're all over the place.. During my application, somehow they managed to cut 2 letters of my name, in the meantime my work permit was approved and I had to send it for amendment, they received my package on Sep 13 and only started working on it on Oct 22. Because of 2 letters.. I'm so mad.

Any news on your application? I called them today, and apparently they opened my application on Friday (Oct 22).. Over a month after it was delivered. So I think it should be 1 more month for me. :(

Oh.. Don't you have to send the original for that?

What do you mean by a duplicate? I sent a webform. My current permit expires in 11 days, as well as my SIN. So I have nothing to prove status since they have my original. I had to ask for amendment because they cut my name.

I applied for amendment on my work permit on Sep 13. Nothing until now.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do You can do either IRCC or CBSA. CBSA is a bit faster. It takes roughly 30-40 days.

It never really changed, always "in process". But it shows as passed on the notes.

I received my gcms notes today. Everything is passed, last update was on Sep 16 and it says "Ready for final decision. Requires officer review." VO: RROC

If they were updating the the account properly, people wouldn't be flooding the phone line. I guess they don't understand that. We go through so much stress and anxiety because they don't have a good system. 2 months (and counting) only answering to priority inquiries.. If we are already...

I hope not, but I can't understand why they're taking so long. I tried to call them twice after that, but all I got was that they're only answering to priority questions. Ugh

I'm guessing they're lying to us. It's been 2 months already since I'm "waiting for final decision".
