I don’t know what’s on it, but if you meet the panel physician for the second time for additional medical test they usually give you a copy of what of IRCC has said and what additional tests they want

Sputum reports takes 6-8 weeks, its a good sign (most probably) if you don’t need a second X ray, after 8 weeks if the report is negative most probably they will clear your medical, but depends completely on what is written in your file. Was X ray mentioned in it previously or any other tests...

Do you know the reason why they asked you for broncho when your result was negative already ? Was it mentioned in your medical furtherance ? I ll be getting my report in 2nd week of August for sputum test. Any reason why they ask for broncho and how long does it take to get the results ?

You will have to meet your panel physician as soon as possible. They will give you a sheet which describes what additional tests they want. Could be related to suspicion of TB,I am in a similar situation and I have read many threads on this forum regarding the same !

Hi, guys I applied for fall intake too, can anyone explain what exactly eligibility passed means ? I had an additional medical requirement so I am doing that and waiting for my results but my eligibility is passed. Does it mean that I won’t be refused on the basis of financial or intent status?

Could be possible,it all depends on what exactly is written on the remedial sheet, usually IRCC does mention what tests are needed

As for your plans to travel, visit the panel physician first if he suggests sputum then you should postpone travel obviously coz they won’t let you go without clearing medical.

Hey, they will suggest you to take steam as much as you can, that will help you for your sputum test, that is what the doctor will advise you to do before you come in the morning for sputum sample. In case you are not able to produce sputum, they then suggest two x rays with a gap of 2-3 months...

I called IRCC today, to ask them about my eligibility status while I wait for the results of the medical tests they informed me that I have passed eligibility which is a good sign he said. Does this mean, that they are now just waiting for the medical results ?
