Yay! Congrats to all the contributiors in here that have been waiting so patiently and got their portal emails. It's a nice feeling to finally be able to relax in beautiful Canada after all those long months of waiting. Congrats @amairena95 @suma17 !! We can finally feel at home now. :)

I got 2 "fake" ghost updates in June. I phoned IRCC and they said they meant nothing. I checked my notes after that and there was nothing at all noted then, so they really did mean nothing... I did not receive any other GU until yesterday a couple of hours before I received the portal email...

It's almost painful to think that had they looked at this "missing" RCMP form sooner, you would have your PR by now and you wouldn't have to go through months of unnecessary stress and worry. They definitely dropped the ball. But, I guess you can't think like that! Think positive - PR is so close!

The last time I ordered my notes it took 37 days. I emailed at the 30 day mark to remind them that I have still not received them after 1 month. However, I did order them through the Privacy Act for free on the Government of Canada website and not a third party site.

Some people don't receive GUs on their stages so I'm hoping this is the case. Depends on the office/officer who processes it I think. We will see soon enough haha
