Got my eCoPR yesterday (Jan 5th) via Virtual Landing Process. They are taking 3-4 weeks to process once you submit you photo etc on the Virtual Landing Portal.

I don't think it could hurt to have a IRCC account. However, don't expect much other information as I haven't felt they update the status in a timely manner. My PR is much further along then than the IRCC site would suggest. I'm not sure what future utility the IRCC/QCKey account will have...

That was the same for me.... nothing for a couple of weeks and just got my pre-arrival letter for what that is worth I don't know. Plus, it seems there are plenty of PRs granted where a pre-arrival letter wasn't sent (or at least the spreadsheet wasn't updated which is more likely).

Out of curiosity - Once they request your passport, how quickly is it returned? I will be traveling for the xmas holidays and will need it but also want to submit it as soon as requested, I'd rather travel after receiving my PR but I may not have a choice.

So is mine but taking longer. Looked at the Jun and May apps and plenty of USA applications are still in process. I think it just comes down to the individual working on your file and the phase of the moon.
