    I'm Feb 2023 applicant and in the same status as you are. It is crazy how IRCC works, it was never first come first served. I know people got their PR approved in 6 months, from submitting to getting approval. And yet we are waiting for next steps after a year.

    I think we don't have to do it again. I heard something that Medicals is no longer required for inland PR applications from Protected persons path since we already do it during earlier process. Not sure though

    Some people say it is because the medical is expired, I asked the agent over the phone he said medical is passed.

    I don't think it will affect your application. However if you can work then it is better to find a job and start working. They can't deny PR because of getting assistance.

    Oh I see, it takes them two years to process PRs so medicals wouldn't be valid to the end so they should extend them for everyone

    Thanks. No they haven't asked for anything yet, I just got an email today from them saying I'm eligible to apply for PR and need to send additional docs but they haven't mentioned what documents are needed. So confusing, will call them to see what's going on.
