Timeline after submission on the new PR confirmation portal

I got my eCoPR on June 22 and still waiting for my PR card. I've seen some people in this thread who got their eCoPR later than me and they got their card. According to processing time on average it should take 63 days but some people get it sooner or later.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

For me it was 2-3 days but I don't get my PR card yet. I've seen some cases like you. I suggest you read this thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/timeline-after-submission-on-the-new-pr-confirmation-portal.713804/page-43

Congratulation! Could you share which Visa Office is dealing with your application?

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

I'm just curious most people here need to send a photo as well as CoPR letter physically to IRCC. Shouldn't all applicants upload the photo in PR portal? I just got an eCoPR (a pdf file) and it seems I shouldn't do any step to get a PR card. Am I missing something?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I got my eCoPR on June 22. Still my address and photo is in review. I've heard some people got their PR card but still their address and photo is in review! Honesty I only care about eCoPR. The PR Card is important only for traveling outside Canada and getting Insurance Card for 5 years.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I got that email on Friday. I replied after working hours. They sent me credential 3 days later on Monday and they issued my eCOPR on on day later on Tuesday. I assume your Visa Office is Montreal like me (you can find it in PR portal email). I've heard longer timeline for EE applicants...

Timeline after submission on the new PR confirmation portal

According to Canada processing time, the first PR card takes 133 days: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html My theory is if they are using RFID chip, due to shortage of chips globally it's expected...

Yes. For me the CSQ was challenging. My application was cancelled due to bill 9.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Today I get my eCOPR letter. I hope you guys get that golden letter soon. When I logged into my IRCC account I found out something interesting for you guys. It took me 15 months to get AOR. My background check completed the same day that I got AOR! They updated it today.

Based on my understanding I don't get eCOPR yet. I only got decision made. I need to wait more for eCOPR.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

PR application received: 2020-02-17 AOR: 2021-04-09 Medical Request: 2021-05-26 Pre-arrival Letter: 2021-05-28 Medical passed: 20201-06-11 I requested a GCMS request around April 3 before I get an AOR. Only criminality check was passed and my security check wasn't started.

I got an email with the title "Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal". I see in ecas my status change to decision made.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I've checked your timeline. Medical passed on May 5 and Pre-arrival on May 28. For me pre-arrival like you on May 28 and medical passed on June 11 (medical request on May 26). You're are waiting around 41 days since your Medical passed. It's likely I have an extensive security check. Are you...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

My theory is that they play safe. They don't process more than quota but some applications can take more than expected (for example extensive security check). They used to give AOR in 3 months but then they have a lot of ready applications but due to quota they couldn't issue PR so they change...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Because of that I don't think Quebec is a good place for us to settle down for long term. It's not difficult to find people in Quebec who are eager to sacrifice everything for French enforcement. I know this type of extremest. They can ruin a region economically in less than 10-20 years.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I was among those 18000 people. I don't think they are going to cancel CSQs. Some people got their CSQ several days before bill 9 passed. They didn't do that back then and I don't think they would do that in future. Though I'm curious CAQ has the power to cancel issued CSQs? Also we shouldn't...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Honesty it was expected. CAQ lost some of its votes due to some COVID restrictions. There is an election next year. So they are going to do things to make sure they will be reelected. So we are going to hear a lot about immigration, French enforcement and so on.
