Yes I did. They also contacted IRCC and told me that they had requested for reconsideration too. If you can, do contact your local MP as well.

I actually got approval in a month time after I submitted the reconsideration request. The same application which was refused later got approved. I hope you hear back soon. Try calling IRCC and check if they have received your reconsideration request.

I think there is no specific link, once you start filling the form for work permit, based on the questions, your IMM form changes to the work permit extension.
