No question is “dumb”. If you are not sure of anything, please ask. We are all learning from each other. Work permit and study permit are not travel documents. TRV is what you need to travel in and out of Canada. If you do not have a TRV, do not leave Canada. There might be other requirements...

Yes, we have heard many people say they forgot to include past refusals on their form and they got PR. What they did was on getting AOR, they sent a webform with the correct form afterwards to correct their mistakes. When you receive your AOR, send correct details via webform ASAP and you are...

Well, there have been some issues but let’s not forget, majority of applications submitted on May 6, 2021 had so many errors and this in itself is causing delays. I am not blaming the applicants, I am just saying it as it is. So far going by the trend in all streams, over 10,000 AOR’s have been...

People are allowed to travel. He could have quickly tracked back into the country and then reply to his portal email (my assumptions). Let’s wait for him to respond.

Big congrats bro. I have been looking for your comment. I remember clearly you asked a question when you were out of the country and most likely, your application was approved when you were not in the country. How did you handle this? Can you please share with everyone just incase anyone on...

Do not cancel any of the applications, leave it and let both applications run their course. I am predicting you will get your PR via the TR -PR route on/before the end of this month of August.

Big congrats. In the COPR request you just received, did they give you specific period of time to respond? Thank you.

Congrats. One thing I know for sure is, this stream is fast, very fast. The main thing is to get your AOR (which depends on the time you submitted). Once you get your AOR, you are 100% sure your application is been processed and you will most likely get your PR within a maximum of 2 months...

You are spot on. Also, if anyone is wondering why someone that applied by 12:20 EST has received AOR and you that submitted 12:17pm EST has not received yours? The answer is simple. These visa officers are humans and they work at different speed. Everyone will get AOR with time. Stay grateful...

You must be in Canada at the time of your application and at the time of your PR approval. If you must travel, make sure you are back in the country before IRCC send you your e-COPR. All the best.

Very well said. IRCC also told us before hand, it is first come first serve. If you applied 6pm EST on May 6 you will have to wait for a while because people who submitted 12- 12:30pm and every other person that submitted before you will be attended to first before you.

My physician gave me the option of paying extra $10 to have my results sent to my email. A week after my test, all my results were sent to IRCC and my personal email.

Express entry before covid 19 takes 4-6 months to process. Infact, express entry only became fast ( 2 - 3 months processing) because visa officers were not processing Outland applications. Other categories of PR such as FSW, PNP even takes 1 year or more. Some Student visa renewals and PGWP...

I wanted to request for GCMS notes as well but there is a section where it asks for file number (it is compulsory) what do we put there? I think there is no way to know file number without getting AOR???

Oh, this is true. You are spot on. I forgot to take into consideration number of applications submitted within the 30 minutes time frame. However, with the increased level of vaccination across Canada, if all public restrictions gets lifted by August, processing of applications might be ramped...

Below are my thoughts and assumptions on the TR - PR pathway based on observations so far. Please note; my assumptions are based on just the International graduate stream. They have the most applicants and feedback so far. It appears almost everyone that submitted between 12 noon and 12:30pm...

There are different type of fees. You need to be a bit specific Is it Permanent residency or processing fees? If an applicant does not pay Processing fees, the application will not be processed. I strongly doubt the applicant will get an AOR (I may be wrong though). However, If the applicant...
