    Mexico, Passport delay

so as Mexican if you only sent them the photocopy of your passport, what you got back was that same photocopy stamped? and your COPR? or what was in what they sent you? I'm trying to plan for when I might get that request as I need to go back to Canada soon.. so I might have to ask for virtual...

    Mexico, Passport delay

Hey, so even though you're Mexican, you had to submit your passport (and not just a photocopy as some instructions I've read say)?? I wonder because I've just recently passed my medicals and I'm hoping I'll get a DM soon, but I only have 1 month left in Mexico before I head back to Canada (I...

    Spousal sponsorship

IMM5533 is for spouses (married), isn't it? Common law checklist is called IMM5589, and @Janet A had inquired about common law. That's what I submitted when doing mine. Just thought I'd mention this very important difference that could potentially get her application returned.

    Spousal sponsorship

In case it hasn't been noted afterwards, do keep in mind that the correct checklist for COMMON LAW is IMM5589. IMM5533 is for spouses. I submitted the common law 5589 and I'm halfway through the process (medical passed, pre-arrival, etc.)

    Police Certificate clarification

Yes, that's how I would interpret it, as she is not currently living in that European country so there's no need to provide it according to the sponsorship rules. However, be aware that there is a possibility that, later in the process, she WILL be asked for that certificate, as it would have...

    Police Certificate clarification

In my case, because of those instructions precisely, I did not had to submit PC for ALL the places where I lived since 18 or for the previous 10 years. I was only meant to submit a PC for the country where I spent most of my life since 18, which happens to be a country where you cannot get a PC...

    MAY 2021 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

Sod off. You are pointless. You should learn not to generalize in your responses "VIP member". I asked in case there were people who had gotten similar trends in their processing with actual data, not meaningless numbers. Pay for some reading comprehension courses instead of being unhelpful. And...

    MAY 2021 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

Does anyone know roughly how many days/weeks it takes to get MR after SA/Bio request? Or for the file to be received at the VO after SA? I'm waiting for my bio appointment, and to be able to produce the 2 police certificates I was requested but would like to know if anyone has some input about...

    MAY 2021 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

Does anyone know if it's normal, as others have experienced, to get no SA email, but ecas sponsor's side shows DM since July 29th; I received BIL on July 28th; ecas PA changed from In process to Application received on July 30th and nothing since?

2020 NOA missing page 1, 2 and 4, but including line 15000, sent application

Hi everyone. After 3 months of getting all the documents ready, it turned out that my partner (sponsor) was only able to get her 2020 NOA pages 3 and 5 (for some odd reason, her mom just sent her those as an accountant did the taxes for her), which show the line 15000. She does not have access...

Outland sponsorship: question about how to sign forms?

Hey Anton, I was wondering if you could help me answer a question. In the forms 1344 and 0008 I forgot to type in N/A in the PO box section, is it ok if I ask my partner to hand write N/A in black ink there? I wrote N/A in the common-law partner co-signer as it's not applicable to us. Do you...

Outland sponsorship: question about how to sign forms?

Thanks. So, in your experience, there's no issue if I sign and date before her? (Even if the form is supposed to be filled by her, the Sponsor)? She is supposed to date her sections by hand, correct?

Outland sponsorship: question about how to sign forms?

Hi. I'm PA living in Mexico, my Sponsor is in Canada and we're common law (lived together over 12 months from 2019-2020). As we're preparing our application, I have a question about the process of signing the forms. My apologies if it has been asked before, but I couldn't find it as I'm not...
