At this point, I think I'll save time lining up at 6am rather than looking for appointments. I've probably already spent an hour or two looking for one

Which location did you get the appointment at? I'm surprised you got one tbh, everywhere I look it is 'This office currently has no available appointments'

I'll definitely book tickets. Did they check how soon you're travelling? I'm confused, the website says 3 to 45 days, but a lot of people on this thread have mentioned max 25 days.

It's my brother's graduation, so I don't have anything with my name on it. Might just book tickets that can be cancelled.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Did they check proof of travel? Trying to figure out if I should book flight tickets before I go. I have a graduation ceremony to attend outside Canada, but the invite/ceremony ticket might not be enough to convince them.

I completed my Oath on May 13 (Montreal office), and I finally received the certificate yesterday!

You'll probably receive the oath email closer to the ceremony. It took me a few days after the first update that showed the oath had be scheduled.

Oath was on May 13, tracker updated today (May 18). Application approved and closed. Thank you for your help everyone! I'll stick around to help whenever I can.

Montreal office too. Oath Ceremony scheduled 5 days later. Another week to get the Oath letter. So hopefully it is soon! Good luck!
