I just heard that processing time was only 5 months back in 2018 lol. I don't understand how can they be too slow now even with covid. 20 months without AOR??!!

Yes the biometric is valid for 10 years for all type of visa applications. If you apply for work permit now, you will do biometric within a few days and then you won't have to do it for PR.

You will receive biometric collection letter when you receive AOR. As of right now, only people applied on or before May 2020 have received AOR. You still have a long way to go.

Processing time for work permit in South Africa is 10 weeks, it's weird that you haven't got it until now.

We finally found someone applied in May 2020 and got AOR. lol

Nice, I don't understand why they are very slow in issuing AOR. Does that mean we will get a decision very quickly after getting AOR!!
