Has anyone applied for citizenship while they have lost the travel document they used to come to Canada with?unfortunately i lost all my documents in a house fire.how should i go about explaining this to them. i can write a letter of explanation, i have a copy of the bio page too.

From the application process I see one needs to provide pages of their passport, I lost my passport in a house fire and lost all me documents. I travelled to the US for a few days during my 3 years, Can i provide a police statement for this with no passport or it will be an issue?
