    Yes. We are aware her status is no different from a tourist who can’t stay longer than 6 months. She is helping to look after the kids while we are settling so hopefully it is deemed non discretionary

    Renew your passport before applying OWP. If you renew passport after that, the passport number will change and you will need to reapply eTA too.

    From open data website (I can’t remember the link), number of approval divided by number of applications was approximately 70-80%. Though you may argue it is not a fair calculation as processing takes time.

    When you apply authorization letter, do you need to provide a quarantine plan? Requirement of having a PR as director varies across province. Some said Ontario require one while BC doesn’t. I would suggest consulting your lawyer on the company structure.
