Ecopr - Jul 15 PR card mailed - Aug 12

Thanks! I did not receive any GU between the medical being passed (March 10) and last weekend (July 11). I checked my account once a day so I don’t think I missed an update in between. I thought the GU on the weekend had been a glitch, but apparently it wasn‘t - got the 1st portal email on Monday.

I‘m well aware that other people are waiting much longer and I feel for them, this doesn‘t invalidate my own feelings though. Great news today though - I received the portal email!

Same thing here. Hasn‘t happened to me before, but I highly doubt it‘s a „real“ ghost update - probably just some server being worked on/backed up, etc. There‘s more talk about this on other AOR threads in the „Express Entry/Expression of Interest“ section.

Applied: Feb 24th Approved: Mar 23rd No message yet, I just checked my account and saw that it was approved.

I thought so too, but there were a bunch of approvals for people whose visa is expiring in May or June now. I think it‘s just a matter of luck and depends on which officer gets the file. Super frustrating, I‘m hoping to get it soon but there‘s just no way to know (or to speed up the process).

@mstefan I think your theory might be correct - I personally know of 3 people who got their BOWP approved within days (one literally within 4 days), all of them applied very close to the expiration date of their previous work permit (this is very recent, within the last two weeks). Plus a bunch...
