Finally, we have received our passports. Submitted: Feb 28, 2022 CC charged: Mar 25, 2022 Passports mailed out: Apr 13, 2022 Passports received: Apr 19, 2022 (Citizenship certificate was mailed out together with passport in one envelope) Good luck to those are waiting!

Update: On Apr 8, I sent 4 requests (for 4 persons of my family) for status update. On Apr 16, 2 persons received an email saying a passport mailed out on Apr 13 with a tracking number. No passport and certificate has been received yet. Let see!

I feel you. My recommendation is go ahead taking your chance to ask for express service with proof of travel. The challenge now is getting connected with them via the phone. I tried many times today but no way

I think no one could give you the answer here. Some told that they could get a passport done in 2 days, even in the same day. But it is completely subject to Service Canada/Passport Office. You may have higher chance to get your passport as fast as they can.

Unbelievable that they could perform like that. After having bad experience with IRCC and now Passport Office, I have NO trust in government services here. On the other hand, a week ago, when making a call to Passport Office, there were about 300+ calls ahead. For the time being, it increases...

It has been 5 weeks for my application. Having heard from many on this thread that the processing time could be up to 5-6 weeks, I hope I could get mine by the end of next week (my cc was charged on Mar 25)
