Can I submit a passport surrender/renunciation application and provide my family or friend's address? I am looking to change my current residential address as the lease is about to expire but don't want to delay the surrender and then the OCI application process.

I pulled my CBSA travel records using ATIP. I live in Vancouver and made multiple trips to USA. I ensured that i dont lose any days but most of my return times were after 9 PM PST. CBSA records work on EST time zone so all these days that I returned after 9 PM PST showed as the next day in CBSA...

My minor kid is a US citizen and holds India OCI. We are filing the Canadian citizenship application right now for her. Should OCI be considered as Permanent Resident of another country or citizen of another country? I am inclined towards citizen as the name itself says Overseas 'Citizen' :)...

Status Update: Wife's application also approved finally. She had applied on Oct 8th and approval received on May 23rd. Luckily got an appointment on May 27th as well.
