Some thread I read says that pre-arrival mail is sent when primary candidate is eligible. After this background check begins. Probably for child there is none so the decision comes fast. But in case of spouse it will take time. This is what I learnt after all the research from morning.

Check your ECAS status. Does it say decision made under primary applicant? If yes, you can expect some news sooner than later. At least that's what I read everywhere

If you have done medical for PR. Just raise a webform and tell you have already done medical for PR and attach the proof. That will suffice. At least in my case that worked.

I heard Beijing is little better than NDVO. Hopefully you will hear some update soon. The medical is done or is it still pending.

With all this wait over the years. It's scary to celebrate to any news until we get ppr. Sad but reality. Anyhow will keep an eye and keep the forum updated. I know there are lot of NDVO parents waiting. So this might be a good indication that their files might be next in line.

You are right. A week before, I contacted them with a detailed webform on hardship had to face without family and reminding them it has been almost a year. Not sure if that webform had an impact or they just resume their work. In any case, happy to see some updates. In ECAS for my child it says...

Until final approval comes. I will take everything with grain of salt. It's just a pre arrival service letter. Good thing is, people waiting to hear from NDVO, they have started working in background.

Today got a message in my account for Invitation of Pre-Arrival Service Hopefully, NDVO has woken up from their sleep and working on the pending application.

Did you get 2 way courier link to pay??

I got TRV for my son in April too. But unable to get the stamping as VFS is not accepting passport for stamping for TRV. Are you able bypass it and get stamping???
