@CNP @JagjyotSingh @idhar_chicha Good to finally see that everyone's long drawn wait has come to an end. It has truly been a painstaking effort but everyone finally made it! Just wanted to check if anyone is planning a separate group on any platform where people from this forum can stay in...

    COPR and coronavirus

Congratulations! I just received my stamped passport as well. Question - Out of the two pictures that we sent, one came back attached to the CoPR and the second they simply pinned on my passport and sent back. Just curious if the same happened to everyone?

Do we just attach the same letter (in the name of the primary applicant) when we dispatch the dependent's passport in a separate package as well? Or do we send both passport's in the...

Did you send both passports in one package with the same request letter? Or did you receive two different letters for primary applicant and dependent?

Thanks. I have applied for renewal of my wife's passport, thankfully the passport office opened this week. One more question, we are the the stage where after getting the 'Do you still want to immigrate' email, we have gotten the re-medical request and have gotten our remedicals done. Now...

    COPR and coronavirus

Anyone know how long Passport validity is required during PPR? We have recently completed our re-meds and am waiting for it to get updated and get a PPR request hopefully. My issue is that my wife's passport is expiring in Jan 2022. Considering that the VO in New Delhi is currently shut and we...

Yes, if you raise a webform and tell IRCC about the current lockdown/curfew here, and ask them for 90 days instead of the given 30, they will usually extend it. Although, if you do decide to travel, you wont have much problems getting to Chandigarh or Delhi by road, i know a lot of people who...

Hi, i am a US citizen living in India, and had to get my FBI clearance done for Canadian PR as well. I got it done through this company - https://www.internationalfingerprinting.com/ Their services were efficient, although a bit expensive, and they are based in Delhi. So you can get in touch...

    COPR and coronavirus

I mean, yes, assuming you were a post March 2020 CoPR holder, you do have to raise a webform and inform IRCC once that you will not be able to travel before your CoPR expires, as far as i know. After that you can wait for them to contact you regarding the same.

Same....So you're not actually losing out on much time while you wait for IRCC to reply, as our VO is shut anyway, so even if we get our PPR there is nothing we can do till the VO reopens.

Mine happened pretty quick, in like 3-4 days. But iv been reading that the time varies, and has even gone up to 3-4 weeks for some people. So just sit tight and dont worry, if you have replied to the e-mail and raised a web form, they will get back to you :) Btw, whats your VO?

Hi, yes, i also replied quite late to the email as it had gone to my spam folder. Two things i did - In the reply to that e-mail (albeit late), after answering the 8 point questions, in the "Please also include any other updated information...." section I included a explanation for why i could...

Yes, i remember reading on this thread a few days back of people who had requested for an extension for the re-meds and IRCC obliged and changed it to 90 days instead of 30.
