No need to order GCMS, just call CIC customer service "at what specific Background stage my application is?" They will able to answer you specifically whether it is in criminality , security etc. also they will confirm whether or not your eligibility is passed or no. Hope this helps you, All...

For me it took a month.

As far as In know, Criminality is the last step of background check, Once it's completed Background is completed. It's hard to guess how long it is taking.

Do not worry, some people are in same boat, not to worry. I know its frustrating and annoying but nothing we can do to expedite it. Just fingers crossed hoping for the best in coming days or weeks.

have you given biometrics before except for PR application?

Just curious, everybody is getting Biometrics refunded? Coz I haven't received anything back. I am single applicant. But my friend with spouse applicant did received refund. @Respina also got one right? Anyone else with same thing?

May applications are not being processed or too slow if they are. Many applicants from July onwards getting COPRs. Strange. Think CIC working backwards.

They're making just money, first ridiculously raise the PR application fee, and inviting near 5000 candidates each draw beyond THEIR capacity to process those applications on time especially during this pandemic. They should focus more on the inland CEC applications already waiting to get...
