Does BOWP now take longer time for processing? My BOWP in March only took a week to get approval while my friend's has been under processing for almost 2 months and no update yet.

hi, I was told by IRCC agent that my eligibility is in progress while the security has been already initiated. Is it a sign that my eligibility will soon be passed or it was just normal that the security could start while processing eligibility? Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks

R10 completeness is one of the requirements to pass the BOWP, once your medical is pass means your R10 is also passed. If you didn't get your BOWP approved within 3 months after you applied you need to contact IRCC. Anyways, it would be even better to get BOWP later if your existing visa is...

In my case, my current visa is expiring on July 14th. It's still quite a while. I thought it's gonna be processed for 3 months as I saw the processing time on the IRCC website. I was surprised that it only took a week.

update: My bowp got approved today 23rd March. Applied on 15th March. It’s super fast.

AOR Jan 16th 2021 Applied BOWP - March 15th I got email update on March 16 and nothing changed My biometrics which I've given in the past updated in the profile on March 17. Is this a sign that I will get approved for BOWP soon or still need to wait? Thanks
