Say for example i sent my application in May and Canada post was so slow they did not receive it until my pnp expired in June how can i be held responsible? Should i not get the benefit of doubt i cannot predict how slow or fast the courier is going to be

But how is it fair to me? Cic says they are having delays receiving application i sent it before deadline and the lady on the call was extremely rude so i did not ask further questions but she said it was returned on 8th jan 2021
